What is the easiest way to bring people together? Food and drink.
How do you elevate this experience? Supper Club.
Matt Glover and I have a shared love of food, friends and fun times! Well… Matt has all the food knowledge, love and passion, I enjoy eating his delicious creations! I enjoying brining people together for a fun social occasion! Together, we are a great time!
So, when Matt suggested Supper Club, I leapt at the chance.
An opportunity to bring friends, colleagues and clients together to sample Matts’ delicious creations. And for it to be more than a dining experience, count me in!
To show our guests that food, fun and great conversation takes centre stage.
Bringing this idea together was quite seamless! Matt and I agreed a date that worked for us. Matt already had a venue in mind, he knew the owner and had photographed there before…. Its remote, beautiful setting was perfect for the Supper Club.
Now, the guest list.
We both wanted this to be a mix of friends, colleagues and clients. People who knew of each other through work and social media escapades! People who we knew would appreciate the atmosphere, the food, the people and the detail.
We gave our guests very little about the evening, just that it was a casual affair focussing on food and relaxation… not getting drunk and staying out all night!!

“From the gorgeous private location to connecting with such a warm, like-minded crowd—everything was magic. We kicked off with cocktails & canapés, followed by a super fun digestive yoga session to loosen up. Dinner was a multi-course dream made with fresh seasonal ingredients, each dish a new flavour adventure. The night wrapped up with fun games that brought everyone out of their shells, and a spectacular dessert to finish it all off. Truly a night that fed both the belly and the soul. Can’t wait for the next one!”

“What a night we had at supper club…I was lucky enough to be invited along by Karen to this gorgeous evening filled with wonderful people, delicious food and lots of laughs. Karen is of course the most fabulous of hosts, bringing together a group of people with her beautiful energy to give us all an incredibly special and unique evening. After drinks, chat and a spot of pre dinner yoga, we had a gorgeous meal of various courses, carefully thought out, prepared and cooked by the insanely talented Matt Glover, so much deliciousness, paired with beautifully made cocktails. Matt also arranged games and quizzes to bring everyone together. It was a night full of gorgeous food, wonderful people and plenty of laughs. A night I’ll remember for a long time.”

“I had such a wonderful time at the Matt and Karen Supper Club! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm, intimate, and full of good energy. Matt and Karen were incredible hosts—welcoming, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do.
As someone who can be a little picky with food—often based on preconceived notions or just how something looks—I surprised myself by trying dishes I’d normally shy away from. That’s no easy feat for me, but the way everything was presented, combined with the encouraging and open vibe of the evening, made it feel natural to step out of my comfort zone.
The food was absolutely delicious, thoughtfully prepared, and beautifully plated. Each course brought something unexpected and memorable. It wasn’t just a meal—it was an experience shared with lovely people and great conversation. I left feeling full, inspired, and already looking forward to the next one.”
We will be doing another Supper Club soon, very soon.
