The site:
Heritage House, Daylesford
The brief:
To plan and deliver the Brand Launch of the new brand Rightech and its new electric vehicles. To liaise with suppliers and venue to ensure the smooth delivery of the Press and Customer Launches. To manage all elements of the international press’s travel itinerary.
The challenge:
Timescale. We only have 6 weeks to plan and deliver this event.
Vehicles. Getting all the new and existing vehicles onto site, set up, charged, show cleaned and ready for the launch.
Weather. Setting up in the wind and rain… joy!!!
Suppliers. Finding high quality suppliers at the last minute to provide; silk covers for the reveal, transport, merchandise, large vehicle cleaning.
The solution:
Building rapport quickly with the venue, suppliers and the international press contact was important. Lots of decisions needed to be made quickly, so establishing trust was imperative.
Also, all parties needed a way to store and share information (and have access to the most up to date information). Using Google Drive ensured everyone has access to the information they needed.
Communication is key!
