Planning an event over the summer is always challenging; people are on holiday, venues are doing maintenance and have less availability for site tours, suppliers are away.

Set up all meetings with the client in advance.

Plan site visits early to make sure you see the venue and have on site briefings.
Give your suppliers as much time as possible to quote for the work.

Inform clients, suppliers and venue when you are going to be on holiday and have a team member available who can answer questions.

The most important thing to remember is the end experience for the guests – for this particular event, so have never been to London before or been recognised for their work. Making it special matters.

The Result:
Lots of happy tears for the winners.
And very happy client.
